Project Details:
Cardolite Specialty Chemicals is a USA based chemical company which wanted to setup a plant in India as the availability of the raw materials was abundant in India.
Preliminary Activities:
Activities carried out: Site search, survey and selection studies.
We helped Cardolite survey and identify the site for the project. For this we visited various sites across India and created a report explaining the various pros and cons of the locations identified. Once the location was finalised we helped Cardolite with the acquiring of licenses such as Pollution Control Board, Environment Clearance and Local Industrial Authority License along with the help of third party liaison.
Detailed Engineering:
Activities carried out: Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Piping Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Insulation & Painting, Effluent Treatment Plant, Solvent Recovery Plant, Firefighting and Safety Alarm System.
Project Management:
Activities carried out: Equipment Procurement, Deposition of Site Engineers, Project Quality Control and Scheduling, Technical and Economical Comparison reports of equipment, Quote follow-up and negotiations, Site visits, commissioning and audits.
We had deputed 10 engineers from our end to oversee the project execution. They looked after the quality control and day to day schedule of the contractors and monitoring. This also included Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Insulation, Mechanical testing and project scheduling. All the work was supervised and guided by our team and management based out of Mumbai with regular visits from our team to the site and made the execution was being done as per the designs submitted and agreed upon. We also helped the client overcome some local labour issues by collaborating with the local leadership. Commissioning was also done by us. We also floated enquiries for the equipment and gathered quotes and created comparison reports which were then submitted to the client for final negotiation and selection.
